Bio

Will Bowes, born June 14th 1990, is a Canadian Actor, Filmmaker, and Musician. He began acting at 14 in a recurring role on Disney’s Naturally, Sadie. Notable television credits that followed include The Latest BuzzConnor UndercoverHow to Be IndieUnnatural History and Degrassi. He also appeared in the film, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. In 2012, Will began recurring as rookie police officer Phinbar Byrnes on BBC America’s Copper and guest starred as heroin addict Wes Taylor on NBC’s Saving Hope. He also had a supporting role opposite Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence in the horror/thriller, House at the End of the Street. Will’s upcoming projects include this summers second season of BBC America’s Copper, playing accused killer Tom Walton on FOX’s The Listener and as a kidnapped U.S Soldier in the eOne’s film, Pride of Lions.

As a filmmaker, Will made short films throughout his childhood. In 2010, he wrote and directed the short film, Split Focus, which won several awards after an international festival tour. Will makes his feature-length directorial debut with the 2012 dramatic thriller, Hunting Season, which he also wrote and co-stars in. He attended Claude Watson and the Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto and is a graduate of Ryerson University’s RTA School of Media.
